ABOUT

Stevie is an queer, non-binary educator and curriculum developer. They are Cree from the Michel First Nation and of mixed settler ancestry from Scotland, Norway, and Russia. They are an uninvited guest on the traditional, unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, sÉ™lÌ“ilwÌ“É™taʔɬ, xÊ·məθkÊ·É™yÌ“É™m, and kÊ·ikʷəƛ̓əm Nations in what is now known as Burnaby, BC. Stevie offers engaging facilitation that is founded on their lived experience.

It's no secret our world is changing rapidly, social movements are pushing us forward and language is ever-evolving. As a (relatively) young professional who is deeply active in community organizing, Stevie excels at bridging gaps between generations and communities.

Stevie Thompson Facilitation and Consulting offers a variety of professional development and educational workshops, all informed by Stevie's lived experience. We also offer consultation services to help existing organizations, structures, and content stay relevant.

Workshops and consultations are offered online globally or in-person in the Lower Mainland of what is colonially known as 'British Columbia'. Stevie's facilitation style is gentle and interactive, promoting curiosity and reflection.

"Stevie was a joy to learn from. I look up to them as a queer person, they’re a great role model and their effort to be a kind and gentle teacher really shows in their practice."
"They were the BEST facilitator. Kind, compassionate, and nurturing, while also being structured, professional, and controlled."
"So gentle, really fun and comfortable to talk to. Makes me happy that someone neurodivergent leads the space because I was able to participate in my own way as someone who is also neurodivergent."
